Winter brings unprecedented level of energy and enthusiasm to the locals of Tromso (in Norway), around 350km north of Arctic Circle. For around 6 weeks in winter, the sun is always below the horizon. The “blue hour” Is the iconic time of the day where the residual light is reflected off the blue sea and the white snow, and the landscape is soaked in a glassy deep blue color. In addition, this is also the key moment to witness the northern lights, while engaging in the winter activities.
