California is home to a diverse array of bird species, thanks to its varied landscapes — from coastal shores and wetlands to mountains and deserts. For an amateur photographer, when regular trips to birding spots are not possible, even your own backyard provides opportunities to try out your photography skills and develop your aptitude towards bird spotting. I captured my first "in-focus birds-in-flight" in my neighborhood park.
